With all the new wonderful and inspiring information around cannabis and it’s healing properties, there is unfortunately a not so pleasant side effect. And that is the cannabis oil scammers.
Ever since the healing properties of cannabis has come out in the mainstream media lot more people are looking for cannabis oils. And many of those looking have little or no knowledge about cannabis from before. This makes some people “easy” pray for the scammers and they are working full time to get money from people in need in their search for oils. And they are getting more advanced every day in their elaborate stories to get peoples attention and money. This is very unfortunate and we need to get information about this out there to prevent this form happening.
The best way to get cannabis oil is to grow yourself or get somebody to grow the cannabis for you. Then you know you will get a clean organic grown product and get the variety you need. It’s hard to get a CBD/THC oil for example, since most people that grow these plants as of now, grow for somebody that already need it and wont be able to sell/share any of the cannabis. For most illnesses you want a good indica based oil, either high THC or high THC/CBD.
If you are lucky to live in a place that you can get to a cannabis dispensary, a caregiver, a coffeshop or association, the search for cannabis and cannabis oils will be a lot easier for you. If not, growing is unfortunately the safest way to get cannabis oils. But you will probably be surprised of how many people you already know that can actually get some cannabis for you if you only dear to ask. Most young people at least know of somebody that is a cannabis user and will probably do their best to help if they get asked. If you can get hold of small amounts of cannabis, you can start your treatment with decarboxylating the cannabis and eating smaller amounts until you gt enough to make a batch of oil with your grow. Here are some sure signs you are dealing with a scammer:

Offering everybody cannabis oil online in commentary fields.
-These people are pretty much always scammers. It takes a lot of cannabis to make oils, so you would have to grow very big for somebody to be able to supply oil to everybody that asks. They would need huge grow rooms. And since offering oils online is very illegal, nobody with that kind of grow capacity would ever risk that for offering oils to strangers. The profiles commenting always have very few friends and little information, since they just open random accounts they know will get reported and closed soon. ALWAYS report these accounts when you come across them, so they get as little time to try to trick people as possible. That being said, there are a few good samaritans helping out people out there, but when it’s a public offer form a brand new profile, it’s probably not one of those.

Have a huge list of different varieties of cannabis they offer to whomever is interested.
-It’s quite common to see people post a long list of cannabis strains claiming they can offer them all to you. The list is just a copy paste list that they all use with the same list of relatively known cannabis strains. Here again, the amount they offer they would need huge grow rooms and the risk of shipping this to all over the world, would make that a very stupid decision and highly unlikely.

-One of the new very sneaky ways they lure people now is with long heartfelt comments of healing and how they got help form Rick Simpson. I have contacted Rick and he assured me that they do not send any cannabis oil, also often called RickSimpsonOil aka RSO. Also many are selling legal hemp oils made from industrial hemp and selling it as Rick Simpson Oil, due to him referring to cannabis oils as hemp oils in the old documentary Run from the cure- The Rick Simpson Story. But he was using strong indica THC full spectrum cannabis oils, not hemp oils with only CBD. This was before we had stable CBD/THC genetics available for people to grow, the situation and the science was not at the level we have it today. Many of solvents used back then are not in any way recommend today, we have all learned a lot the last years and will continue to learn for many years more. If you ever get contacted with somebody offering you an Rick Simpson email, just contact him trough his Facebook page and he will confirm that it’s just a scam. It’s sad that people use Rick’s name for scamming anybody.

These scammers often post under great video testimonials like this youtube video ( that is a read testimonial ) and under News and Cannabis stories everywhere on the web. Any place where they know people will be looking for help. Forums like Facebook and youtube has loads of fake profiles claiming to have cannabis oils for you. You can chat with them and they will be quite aggressive sellers. They often accuse you of being police if you ask about their product. We can not accept this, and we need to let them know. Always report these profiles when you come across them, so they wont be able to fool to many people. Facebook will remove them fast when we say they are scammers. These are not people connected to the cannabis community, but they do make us look pretty bad for those outside that actually need our help.

If you are a person helping patients, thank you so much, we need more of you. But I would think you would agree with what is written here. We do not supply any oils, we are a seed company in Europe and do not have any license to grow cannabis in that scale. I wish we could, since we get people asking every week for oils. And some have lost money to these types of scams unfortunately. And we are well aware of the great people that do grow for people, even strangers, just of the good of their hart. But none of them advertise like this on the internet and even fewer wants any attention for it due to their safety and capacity.

Rick Simpson is a Fraud and has been got caught stealing people’s money and shipping no products! He preys on people with cancer to send him money. This has happened to people I know and they had lost all the money that was sent to this crook. Rick is a scam artist and should be put in jail!
Hi! This might also have been somebody just posting as Rick online, we get so many spams from fake emails using Ricks name, claiming their him or Phoenixtears. But all sadly scammers 🙁
Do not order any CBD oils. It’s a scam! You get a half a an ounce of whatever it is, and they charge you $200 dollars a month. I was charged $92.29 and $4.95, on one charge. Then I was charged $89.98 and $5.95 on another charge. Both on the same bill. The small amount was shipping and handling. If you are going to order anything, be smart and go on amazon, or a site like that.
You are right, a lot of CBD oil is borderline scam and so really are. But there are some good brands as well. Just remember to always ask for cannabinoid profile lab results, not juts mg pr ml. And look for one made from the buds only, full flower extracts, no stems and seeds etc. Preferably recreational hemp, not industrial grown hemp. SOme oils out there are made from our genetics even 🙂 But for cancer you need stronger medicine than CBD tinctures, you need THC as well.
Over 90% ARE RIP OFFS ! I would never waste the time and money to even attempt it. If someone needs CBD Oil that bad ,they should visit a legal state.
